Züplankta Architectural Figures
Derived from the Greek zoon (ζῴον), meaning "animal," and planktos (πλαγκτός), meaning "wanderer," Züplankta is an open-source collection of the world's most flamboyant architectural figures forged by artist-designer collective Züperstudio.

Too often architectural renderings include scale figures represented as featureless phantoms, effectively denying the inherent beauty, richness, and relevance of identity in architecture. Züplankta is a metamorphosis that brings out the unique qualities of each individual, rendered in blazing saturation, that one cannot help but notice. As an appeal to the beauty of our world and the incredible forms of life found in it, Züplankta highlights nearly a hundred noteworthy species of animals, plants, and fungi with a taxonomic reference sheet linking to further information about each figure. There is always more for us to discover in this world.

All figures are free for the public to download, distribute, edit, publish, and use in any non-commercial manner they choose.
